The North Wales Hypnotherapy Academy provides quality training at locations in Wrexham and Oswestry. The core qualification that we provide is the Hypnotherapy Practitioner Diploma (HPD) which is the flagship and recognised gold standard of hypnotherapy qualifications in the UK today. The HPD is administered by the National Council for Hypnotherapy (NCH) and is externally verified by the NCFE. The NCFE accreditation gives assurance that the content of the training course is of a high standard and meets the rigorous requirements of a national awarding organisation.
Being a National Council for Hypnotherapy (NCH) accredited training school, you will be given student membership of the NCH and on completion of the training you are able to apply for full membership. You will also be eligible to apply for membership of the Complimentary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC), the UK’s official register of complimentary therapists.

NCH
The NCH has been approved as an NCFE centre and the HPD has been accredited by NCFE to guarantee that it is of a high standard and meets the rigorous requirements of a national awarding organisation.
NCFE
The HPD has been accredited by NCFE as having measurable learning outcomes that have been benchmarked at Level 4 (using Ofqual’s Qualification and Credit Framework (QCF) level descriptors).
Open University
The Hypnotherapy Practitioner Diploma has 45 academic credits from the Open University at Undergraduate level 1 (FHEQ Level 4) which count towards a relevant degree.
CNHC
The HPD also meets all the ‘Learning Outcomes’ of the “Complementary and Alternative Healthcare – Hypnotherapy”: National Occupational Standards.
CNHC is the UK voluntary regulator for complementary healthcare practitioners that was set up with government support to protect the public by providing a UK voluntary register of complementary therapists.
CNHC’s register has been approved as an Accredited Register by the Professional Standards Authority for Health and Social Care. This means CNHC has met the Professional Standards Authority’s demanding standards.
